The shoes come marked and are made in the “Risto Size”. This chart approximately corrects Risto sizes to US men’s and women’s sizes. Our Risto size runs about 1-2 EU sizes larger than normal.
The interior and exterior shoe lengths are the approximate physical lengths of the base and inside of the shoes; please use these only as a guide.
How to select your size – do it yourself OR let us do it for you!
Do it Yourself method in 3 easy steps:
1. Measure your foot from heel to toe, in either inches or centimeters.
2. Using the Risto size chart above, find the US size or Risto size with an “Interior Shoe
length” atleast 1 centimeter bigger or a ½ inch bigger than your heel-toe foot length.
Explanation: you want to order a shoe that has atleast a centimeter or half
inch longer than your foot.
3. Select the size from the dropdown menu using the size you selected from the Risto Size Chart.

Leave the size selecting to the Risto team:
From the shoe size dropdown menu, select "Risto Select" and add a pair of shoes to your shopping cart. At checkout, in the order comments, type your heel to toe length in either inches or centimeters.
Note, the “order comments” only shows-up after you have hit the “check out” button and logged-in.
Fit- Width and Arches
The shoes run slightly wide. The toe box is made of molded leather. Hence, the toe box has more height than other brands and fits similar to a work boot. The Risto’s are also good for high arches.
Changes from our last model
Our newest model, sold on this website, is slightly wider than our previous model. Most notably, the forefoot is no longer tapered and widens at the ball of the foot.
