Risto Sports was founded by Ivan Rojas, an expert weightlifting coach, and Gwen Sisto, MIT rocket scientist and weightlifter. Risto Sports designs and manufactures all of our products.


Our products are used by World Champions and Olympians.

Our mission is to offer high quality products to anyone using free weights- Olympic weightlifters, CrossFitters, Powerlifters, Kettlebell, Figure competitors, Strength Athletes, Strongman/woman competitors. Our products are made in the America’s, using local materials and reasonable working conditions.

On the Products:

The Risto Sports Weightlifting shoes, belts, wraps, and singlets are hand made by artisans in Colombia, a USA ally.  Our products have a lower carbon footprint as they are made of local materials and are made in socially responsible working conditions. 

Our weight lifting shoes, weightlifting belts, and wrist wraps are made of high quality leather. The weightlifitng shoe's even feature a heel made of a solid wood platform, finished with rubber for an excellent grip.
