Risto and Andica Foundation

Risto&Andica, Inc is incorporated as a non-profit in the State of Maine. We are currently accepting donations and are filing for 501(c)3 exemption.

Since our inception, our mission has been to:
Build character and fitness in members of society through the sport of Olympic Weightlifting. Using the sport of Olympic Weightlifting, we help individuals, with an emphasis on youth, reach their fitness potential, including combating childhood obesity, building character, teaching physical and mental discipline, and developing future Olympians.
Additionally, we also aim to help athletes who come from poverty, including rural areas and inner cities, to have an outlet for success and cultural enrichment through weightlifting. This includes an international outreach program for athletes who do not have the monetary means to compete on the international stage.
Risto&Andica Successes: Donated a bar and weights for Carlos Andica's school age weightlifting team. Providing supplements to athletes training at the Risto Sports training center. Coaching Eliot, ME high school wrestling team including programming, nutritional consultation and facility fees.
Risto&Andica Goals: Furnish a bus for children in Columbia who have to walk through dangerous neighborhoods to get to the training facility. Support athletes competing at a high level including athlete housing, coaching, and nutrition.
